Move Over Michael Jackson: Harry Styles Is The New ‘King Of Pop’

When many of us look back on the history of modern music, we can’t help but think about Michael Jackson and the impact he had on a generation. In fact, he was such an iconic part of music in those days, he was referred to as the King of Pop.

That was then, and today, he may still be known and we hear his songs playing on occasion, but other musicians have stepped into the limelight. This includes Harry Styles, who has been declared as the new King of Pop by Rolling Stone.

Undoubtedly, Michael Jackson will always be considered as an important part of music. After all, he won many awards, including 13 Grammy awards and his impact on the industry is undeniable.

In more recent times, however, Harry Styles entered the scene, first with One Direction and then as a solo artist. He also has won awards, including three Grammy awards and has three studio albums so far. Undoubtedly, he has also impacted the world of music in many ways.

After being proclaimed the new King of Pop, people couldn’t help but talk about it. Some people went on to say that it isn’t a title that Rolling Stone is able to give, as Michael Jackson earned it, rather than being given it.

Others say that Michael Jackson should always be considered the King of Pop and the title should be retired rather than being passed on. Styles is talented, but perhaps he should have his own title rather than sharing one with Michael Jackson.

This is a debate that will undoubtedly continue, and it will be interesting to watch.
