Get your cheese, get your cake! We are making a cheesecake! – An easy cheesecake recipe

The world over, people adore the tempting treat known as cheesecake. Cheesecake is a real treat that tempts the taste receptors with its creamy and silky texture, sweet and tangy flavor, and fragile crust.

Cheesecake is a sweet that can be tailored to any flavor choice because it is made with a mixture of cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and other ingredients. Any sweet appetite will be satisfied by a piece of cheesecake, whether it is served simple, covered with fresh fruit, drizzled with caramel or chocolate sauce, or served any other way.

Here’s a simple recipe for a classic cheesecake:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 32 oz. of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups of granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. of vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup of sour cream

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Mix the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, and melted butter in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Make sure it’s packed tightly and evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1 1/4 cups of granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in the sour cream.
  7. Pour the mixture into the crust.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  9. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside for 30 minutes.
  10. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and run a knife around the edges to loosen it from the pan.
  11. Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  12. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Optional: You can also top the cheesecake with fresh fruit, whipped cream, or a drizzle of chocolate syrup for an extra touch of flavor.
