There may be many things we can avoid in life but getting older is one that we can never shake off. As we get older, we are also going to have indications that we are older, including gray hair.

Not only does gray hair happen to the everyday person, it also happens to celebrities. Some celebrities receive criticism when they allow their gray hair to show, but they still continue to allow it to show.

1. Sarah Jessica Parker: You probably are aware of Sarah Jessica Parker because of the role that she played in Sex and the City. Not too long ago, she was out dining and decided not to wear makeup. People lost their minds.

She began to be labeled as old and the 58-year-old expressed her view in an interview. She was not sure why people were uncomfortable with the aging process.

She said: “It almost feels as if people don’t want us to be perfectly OK with where we are, as if they almost enjoy us being pained by who we are today, whether we choose to age naturally and not look perfect, or whether you do something if that makes you feel better.”

2. Diane Keaton: 77-year-old Diane Keaton is also someone who has faced backlash for allowing her gray hair to show. In her case, it happened at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards.


In her case, some people were so surprised with her gray hair that they wondered how she was able to achieve it. They were actually jealous of it!

She has talked about people and their view of her gray hair and she simply accepts it as part of life.

5. Roseanne Barr: Roseann is also somebody who allows her gray hair to show through. She has received some negative comments because of her gray hair, but being in her early 70s, she is accustomed to body shaming.

Over the years, she has changed her appearance on a number of occasions. In 2017, she said that she would allow her hair to go gray and would no longer be using hair dye.
