More than 70 years ago, Kenneth, 95, and Faye Babin, 93, first crossed paths. Ever since they fell in love, they haven’t let go of one other’s hands.
The pair has been married for 72 years and is still fully in love with each other. The pair started to gain popularity and inspired a lot of netizens with their lovely, sweet love when their granddaughter shared their popular TikTok videos in which they would tenderly connect with one another.
The films demonstrate how devotedly the pair still loves one another after 72 years of marriage. They are the epitome of real love and what it means to spend a lifetime together.
In a Good Morning America interview, the pair happily divulged the key to their successful marriage.
“I love my woman,” Kenneth said. “Love you, hun,” Faye replied. “My love never failed you,” he added.
Very lovely! Faye reminisced about how her spouse was ever prepared to offer her a hug whenever she needed one.
“Every time I got low, you know, I was feeling bad, I went and said, ‘I need a hug. I need a kiss’ and he obliged!” Faye shared.
The importance of communication was underlined by the pair. They constantly “talk it out” and have never thought about getting a divorce.
“We never even talked about getting rid of each other. It was always the other way around, sticking together,” Kenneth said.
Faye and Kenneth shared how they love to do things together.
They enjoy playing poker, dominoes, and cards. They spend a lot of time with one other and constantly laugh together. The duo continued to laugh around even while being interviewed.
“I did not even think of divorce. Murder, a few times, but…,” Faye recalled and then laughed.
The couple’s amazing and enduring love story left many online in awe. Their union is genuinely admirable.
There are many instances of marriage vows being broken, but this pair just shown that it is possible to overcome obstacles and remain committed to one another.
They still give one other corny comments at their advanced age and after spending so many years together, which the spectators undoubtedly found endearing.
Faye even asked her husband “What attracted you to me?” Kenneth lovingly replied: “Just you, that’s all I can say.”
